BBC III 12th February 2010
Soon the 3rd BBC show will take place. This time in connection with the TICACATS show in Barleben - that’s in Germany right in the middle between Berlin and Hannover.
The really new thing:
It’s the first showseason that the British Longhair are competing in Championship class.
So we have changed the setup for the congresses:
* British Shorthair and British Lonhair Kittens
(born between 13th June and 12th October 2009)
* British Shorthair and British Konghair Cats
(whole males and females born on or before 12 June 2009)
* British Shorthair and British Longhair Alters
(neuters and spays born on or before 12th June 2009)
Each congress will be judged by each of our
3 judges from 3 continents!
For the breeder awards we will continue to split males and females - though also longhairs will compete with shorthairs.
I am sure you dont want to miss this.
Wouldn’t you like to go home with one of these breeder-award-crowns?
Best British Cats II
On April 17 2009 the British Breed Club together with All About Cats organises it’s 2nd show. The show will be held in Enns in Austria. More geographic information about Enns you can find here.

Results of the British Breed Section pool
One of the steps for the British Longhair to gain championship status in TICA is the pool of the Breed Section. This voting was now finished with a very favourable outcome for the British Longhair.
In the British Shorthair Breed Section 27 out of 38 votes were in favour of the British Longhair, in the British Longhair Breed Section 13 out of 13 votes were in favour of the British Longhair.
So a total of 40 out of 51 votes were cast in favour of Championship Status for the British Longhair.
Thanks to all of you who helped to succeed with registering your British Longhair with TICA, registering your cattery, your TICA membership and of cause your vote!
Now it is up to the TICA Board of Directors to decide at the Annual Meeting (end of August). If the board votes in favour of Championship Status for the British Longhair they can compete with all other championship breeds for Titels starting from May 01, 2009.
Our 2nd show will be held April 17, 2009
All About Cats will be hosting the 2nd BBC show
friday April 17,2009 Linz area, Austria
